Philosophical and religious traditions in China
Taoism  refers to a variety of related philosophical and religious traditions that have influenced Eastern Asia for more than two millennia,  and have had a notable influence on the western world particularly since the 19th century.
Buddhism is a religion and philosophy encompassing a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices, largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha.
